김지철 충남교육감 청사내 5∼10년생 무궁화 묘목 식재

충남교육청이 5일 제77회 식목일을 맞아 김지철 교육감을 비롯한 과장급 이상 간부와 직원 20여 명이 참여한 가운데, 청사 내에서 무궁화나무를 식재했다고 밝혔다.

도 교육청이 식목일 행사에 무궁화를 심는 것은 올해로 다섯 번째로, 5~10년생 무궁화 묘목, 꽝꽝나무와 문그로우 20여 주를 청사 내 구룡정원 화분에 식재했다.

김지철 교육감은 “기후위기 시대에 나무 심기, 탄소중립 365운동 등 생활 속 작은 실천을 통해 지속가능한 행복이룸 환경을 만드는 것은 중요하다."며, “식목일을 맞아 나라꽃 무궁화 심기를 통해 나라사랑의 참 뜻과 건강한 생태환경 구축의 중요성을 동시에 되새겨보기를 바란다.”고 말했다.
