브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 대통령 당선인은 다음주부터 각 지역을 순회하며 대선승리를 이끌어준 국민들에게 감사인사를 전한다.
배현진 당선인 대변인은 8일 오전 서울 종로구 통의동 대통령직인수위원회에서 가진 브리핑에서 "다음 주부터 지역순회 일정을 시작할 것이다. 대구·경북 지역부터 먼저 방문할 예정인데 구체적인 방문지나 일정은 확정되는 대로 사전에 공지 해드릴 예정"이라고 밝혔다.
배 대변인은 "(윤 당선인은) 지난 17개 시도지사 간담회를 통해서 각 지역에서 추진하는 중점사업들을 듣고 지역의 고충들을 직접 전해들었다"며 "이번 지역방문 일정을 통해 대선승리를 만들어주신 대한민국 국민들 지역 분들에게 다시 돌아가 감사를 표하겠다는 후보 시절의 약속을 지키는 것"이라고 설명했다.
이어 "지역 민생을 살릴 수 있는 무엇보다 당선인이 가장 강조하는 '지방균형'을 대한민국 새 정부에서 이뤄나갈 방안을 찾고 청취해서 국정과제에 강력한 어젠다로 제안하고 실천하는 것"이라고 부연했다.

배 대변인은 '대구·경북 방문 시 박근혜 전 대통령을 예방하느냐'는 기자의 질문엔 "그 부분도 검토를 당연히 하고 있지만, 결정된 바는 전혀 없다"고 답했다.
그러면서 "이번 지역 방문 일정은 대통령 당선인이 (지역에) 다시 돌아가서 감사 인사를 하겠다는 약속 지키는 것과 대한민국 국민이 어느 지역 사시든 기회의 차별을 받지 않도록 하겠다는 지방 균형 발전의 강력한 의중을 전달하기 위해 가는 것"이라고 다시 한번 취지를 강조했다.

In a briefing held at the presidential transition committee in Tongui-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on Tuesday morning, Bae Hyun-jin said, "We will start a regional tour next week. Asked by a reporter whether he would prevent former President Park Geun Hye from visiting Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do, Spokesman Bae replied, "We are reviewing that part, but nothing has been decided at all."
"The schedule for this visit is to convey the president-elect's strong intention to keep his promise to return to the region and to ensure that the Korean people are not discriminated against by opportunities in any region," he stressed once again.
