한국농어촌공사 고양지사(지사장 김광석)는 8일 지사 재난안전상황실에서 본격적인 영농기를 맞아 농업용수 공급을 위한 언택트(비대면) 통수식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 통수식은 코로나19 확산에 따라 대면행사 대신 비대면으로 경기본부 및 관내 10개 지사가 각 부서 재난안전상황실에서 합동으로 통수식을 진행했으며 물관리자동화시스템의 원격제어(Tele-Control)로 양수장을 가동해 통수를 실시했다.

용수공급은 행주등 11개소 양수장을 통해 고양지사 관내 3,365ha의 유역 농경지에 9월까지 이루어질 예정이이다.

김광석 지사장은 “물관리자동화시스템을 통한 효율적인 용수관리와 철저한 농업생산기반시설 관리로 가뭄 등 재난재해에 선제적으로 대응해, 금년에도 농민들이 풍년농사를 거둘 수 있도록 지사 전 직원들은 최선을 다할 계획”이라고 말했다.고양=박정호기자
