국민의힘 하남시 시장 예비후보들인 구경서, 김시화, 김용우, 김준희 예비후보들은 지난 8일 기자회견을 열고 “이현재 전 국회의원의 시장 예비후보 사퇴”를 촉구, 선거에 영향을 미치고 있다.
이들 4인 예비후보들은 “하남시 당협과 정면으로 맞서면서 자신의 세력을 내세워 비방, 분열 등의 행위를 조장하는 이 후보를 비판한다”고 촉구하고 “선당후사 정신도 애당심도 없이 당원들과 시민들을 우롱하며 자신만을 위한 정치 행각을 즉각 중단해야 할 것”이라고 천명, 파문을 일으켰다.
구경서, 김시화, 김용우, 김준희 예비후보들은 “이현재 전 의원의 행태는 국민의힘 하남시 당협과 시민들을 분열시키는 가장 후진적이고 나쁜 정치 행태”라고 꼬집고 “당내 갈등과 분열의 원인이며 지역 정치인들의 화합과 인재 등용을 막는 악영향을 미치고 있다”고 지적했다.
