세계태권도연맹(WT)이 주최하고 고양시와 대한태권도협회가 주관하는 「2022 고양 세계태권도품새선수권대회」가 4월 21일부터 24일까지 고양시 킨텍스 제2전시장 10홀에서 열린다.
대회는 전세계 태권도인의 뜨거운 관심 속에서 62개국 972명이 등록했다.
고양시는 안전한 대회 개최를 위해 참가 조건을 세계보건기구(WHO) 긴급 승인 백신 기준의 예방접종완료자(2차 접종 후 14일이 지나고 180일 이내인 사람과 3차 접종자)로 제한했다고 밝혔다.
시는 전세계 태권도인들이 안전한 환경에서 본인의 기량을 펼칠 수 있도록 문화체육관광부와 지속적인 협의를 통해 방역대책을 수립했으며 질병관리청의 단계적 일상회복에 따른 기본방역수칙을 준수하여 대회를 진행 할 예정이다.
이번 대회에 참가하기 위해 각 국 대표선수들은 중앙정부의 지침에 따라 출발 전 48시간 이내 PCR검사를 하고 인천국제공항에 입국시에도 코로나19 검사센터에서 PCR검사를 받는다.
시는 코로나19의 감염위험요인을 최소화하기 위해 전용 셔틀버스를 운행하고 선수단에게 자가검사키트를 제공한다.
그리고 각국 방역담당자(CLO: Covid Liaison Officer)를 지정하여 입국 이후 확진자 발생 등 비상상황시 신속하게 대비할 수 있는 시스템을 구축했다.
또한 경기장 내 의무실을 설치해 부상선수 발생시 즉시 치료할 수 있는 의료지원 체계를 갖췄다.
의료지원을 위해 대회 협약병원인 인제대학교 일산백병원, 국민건강보험공단 일산병원, 동국대학교 일산병원, 명지병원이 의료진, 구급약 및 구급차를 지원한다.
관람객의 경우 마스크 착용, 발열체크 후 입장 가능하고, 물·무알콜 음료 외 음식물 섭취금지, 침방울이 튈 수 있는 육성응원 금지 등의 방역수칙을 준수해야한다.
