고양 지역자활센터는 행복자활 텃밭에서 감자 심기 행사를 진행했다고 14일 밝혔다.
행복자활텃밭은 2021년 고양시 도시재생사업의 일환으로 고양지역자활센터 옥상에 조성됐다.
참여자들은 텃밭에서 도시농업을 실시하며 저소득층의 근로습관을 형성한다.
텃밭은 직업 훈련 프로그램을 실시하는 장소로도 이용된다.

고양지역자활센터 자활참여자 20여명은 씨감자 4kg를 파종했다.
수확물은 도시락 자활사업단의 식재료로 사용되며 생활 형편이 어려운 이웃을 지원하는데도 활용될 예정이다.
센터 관계자는 “자활참여자들은 행복자활텃밭이라는 치유농업을 통해 자기 회복과 더불어 나눔이라는 공동체 의식까지 높아지는 효과가 있다”고 밝혔다.
