고양시가 오는 19일 킨텍스 제2전시장에서 경기도북부경찰청과 함께 테러 대응능력 강화 훈련을 실시한다.
시는 4월 21일부터 24일까지 열리는 ‘고양 세계태권도품새선수권대회’ 개최를 앞두고 있다.
전세계 70여개국 2,000여명의 선수와 관람객의 안전을 위해 시는 코로나19 유행 이후 처음으로 현장대응 훈련을 실시해 기관간 유기적인 협조 체계를 구축하고 현장대응 역량을 강화할 방침이다.

이번 훈련은 경기가 개최되는 국제적인 전시장인 킨텍스 제2전시장에 테러범이 드론을 이용해 화생방 및 폭탄 테러를 일으키고 이후 인질극과 방화를 저지르는 상황이라는 시나리오를 가정해 진행된다.
훈련은 4월 19일 오후 3시부터 진행된다.
발생 상황에 따라 대피, 제독 및 테러범 진압 등 각 기관별 임무와 역할을 충실히 시행하여 실제 테러에 대비한 유관기관의 테러 대응능력을 강화시킬 예정이다.
