브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 6·1 지방선거와 함께 치러지는 국회의원 재보궐 선거에 더불어민주당 이재명 상임고문, 국민의힘 안철수 대통령직인수위원장의 출마가 공식화됐다.
대선후보급 두 사람의 출마 선언에 따라 7곳의 국회의원을 새로뽑는 이번 재보궐선거는 '미니 총선'급으로 판이 커지게 됐다.
먼저 민주당은 6일 비상대책위원회의에서 이재명 상임고문을 인천 계양을에 전략공천하기로 만장일치 의결했다. 인천 계양을은 송영길 전 대표가 내리 5선 의원을 지낸, 민주당의 텃밭으로 분류된다.
비대위원 중 이재명 고문의 출마를 반대하는 의견을 가진 이도 있었으나, 지방선거 승리를 위한 이재명 고문의 필요성에 대해선 모두 공감한 것으로 알려졌다.
이재명 고문은 또한 지방선거 총괄선거대책위원장도 맡아 선거 전체를 진두지휘한다.
고용진 수석대변인은 "그간 두분(박지현·윤호중) 비대위원장과 이재명 고문간 대화가 있었다"면서 "결국 (이 고문은) 이번 선거에 직접 출전해서 진두지휘하겠다는 의지를 밝혔다"고 전했다.

안철수 대통령직인수위원장도 이날 경기 성남분당갑 출마를 공식화했다. 안철수 위원장은 이날 ‘경기지역 정책과제 대국민 보고회’에 참석한 직후 기자들과 만나 "분당갑 뿐만 아니라 경기도를 포함한 수도권에서의 선거 승리를 위해 제 몸을 던질 생각"이라고 밝혔다.
그는 "수도권 승리를 위해 제게 분당갑에 출마해 달라는 당 안팎의 진정어린 요청들이 계속 이어지고 있었다"면서 "지방선거에서 승리해야만 새롭게 출범하는 정부가 국정을 안정적으로 운영할 수 있고, 개혁할 수 있다. 한 사람이라도 더 당선시켜 경기도가 발전할 수 있도록, 정부와 협조가 잘 될 수 있도록 돕는 역할을 할 생각을 하고 있다"고 각오를 전했다.
안 위원장은 '경기도와 어떤 인연이 있느냐'는 기자의 질문엔 "안랩을 경영하던 시절 판교의 여러 발전 가능성을 염두에 두고 판교에 사옥을 지었다"며 "분당갑이 있는 판교에 가장 먼저 사옥은 지은 회사가 안랩"이라고 했다.
안 위원장은 그러면서 "오늘 열리는 인수위 해단식이 마무리된 이후 가능한 빠른 시간 안에 제 생각들을 정리해 말씀드릴 것"이라고 덧붙였다.
한편 안 위원장이 출마하는 경기 성남 분당갑에는 윤석열 대통령 당선인의 특보인 박민식 전 의원이 출사표를 낸 상황이다. 이에 따라 안 위원장이 단수 공천을 받을지 경선을 거칠지도 이목이 쏠린다. 이들 중 최종 후보가 결정되면 민주당 공천을 받은 김병관 전 의원과 맞붙게 된다.
