시민이 직접 가꿔온 개인정원이 대전시에 처음으로 등록됐다.
대전시는 7일 우수정원을 대상으로 서류 및 현장심사를 거쳐 2개소를 민간정원으로 등록했다고 밝혔다.
이번에 등록된 민간정원 ‘하늘강(대덕구 대청호수로1326번길 75)’은 도예 체험을 겸한 정원 관람이 가능한 곳이다. 다양한 화목과 계절마다 피는 야생화 등의 자연물과 갖가지 조형물의 조화가 아름다운 정원으로 시민들의 사랑을 받고 있다.
민간정원 ‘소나무풍경(서구 괴정로 116번길 42)’은 주위에선 이미 알려진 곳으로 이름에서 알 수 있듯 멋스러운 소나무와 식물을 가꾸고 돌보는 섬세한 손길과 정성이 정원 구석구석에 베어있다.
두 곳 모두 상시 개방 중이며 정원의 구성과 편의시설 내용, 정원을 사랑하고 가꾸는 운영자의 노력 등을 감안해 민간정원으로 최종 확정했다는 것이 시측의 설명이다.
한편 ,대전시는 시민이 주도하는 정원문화 정착을 위해 등록을 지속적으로 추진하고 등록된 정원에 대해서는 공립나무병원 수목진료 컨설팅 등 지원방안도 확대해나갈 계획이다.
