파주시,‘교통약자 이동편의 증진위원회’개최

파주시는 26일 파주시청 대회의실에서 2022년 교통약자 이동지원서비스 개선안과 파주시 지방교통약자 이동편의 증진계획 용역안 심의 자문을 위해 고광춘 부시장 주재로 ‘교통약자 이동편의 증진위원회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

고광춘 파주시 부시장은 “교통약자의 이동권 보장과 사회참여 확대를 위해 앞장서 주시는 위원분들께 감사드린다”며, “파주시는 교통약자가 더 안전하고 편리한 환경을 조성하기 위해 이용자 중심의 서비스 개선방안을 지속적으로 마련해 나가겠다.”고 말했다.

한편 파주시는 대중교통 이용이 어려운 중증장애인과 65세 이상의 교통약자, 임산부 등의 이동권을 보장하기 위해 휠체어 탑승 설비가 장착된 특별교통수단 36대와 비휠체어 이용자가 보다 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 바우처택시 40대를 운영하고 있다.
