이장우 대전광역시장 당선을 이끈 대전미래캠프가 3일 오후 해단식을 갖고 민선8기 대전시정 성공을 기원하며 활동을 종료했다.

서구 둔산동 선거사무소에서 열린 해단식에는 상임고문을 맡았던 이양희 전 국회의원과 오응준 전 대전대 총장을 비롯해 이창섭·백춘희 총괄선대위원장, 김인식 시민통합직능총괄선대위원장, 김신호·송하영 후원회장 등 각급 위원장·부위원장·고문·실무팀 등 200여 명이 참석했다.

이 자리에서 이장우 당선인은 “지난 1년 어려운 상황에서도 저를 믿고 흔쾌히 함께해주신 모든 분들께 진심으로 감사드린다. 여러분들 덕에 정권교체에 이어 대전시정 교체까지 할 수 있었다”며 “이제 각자의 위치로 돌아가겠지만 평생 잊지 않고 형제처럼 모시겠다”고 말했다.

이어 이 당선인은 “선거 이후 윤석열 대통령께서도 두 차례나 전화해서 대전 발전을 당부하셨다”고 밝힌 뒤 “7월 1일 시장에 취임하면 역대 어느 시장보다 공무원들 진심으로 아끼며 145만 시민을 위해 열심히 일하는 시장이 되겠다”고 약속했다.
