국가철도공단, 철도시설 전 분야 정밀진단

철도시설의 효율적 유지관리를 위해 궤도, 건축, 전철전력, 통신, 신호 등 철도시설 전 분야에 대한 정밀진단·성능평가가 실시된다.

3일 국가철도공단에 따르면 ‘철도의 건설 및 철도시설 유지관리에 관한 법률’에 따라 올해부터 준공 후 10년이 지난 철도 시설을 대상으로 5년마다 정밀진단과 성능평가를 시행하며,

시설별 성능변화 분석을 반영한 합리적인 중장기 유지보수 전략을 도출하는 등 보다 안전한 철도시스템 구축을 위해 체계적이고 과학적으로 시설물을 관리해 나갈 계획이다.

이번 철도시설의 정밀진단 및 성능평가는 철도 네트워크의 지속 확충에 따른 효율적, 안정적 유지관리 필요성에 따라 최초로 시행되며,노후도 등 안전성 기준으로 철도시설물을 진단하고 보수하던 기존 방식에서 안정성과 내구성, 사용성 기반의 성능 중심 시설물 유지관리 체계로 관리방식을 전환되게 된다.

이를 위해 일산선과 충북선 등 전국 11개 노선의 궤도 시설물 121.8km와 건축물 20동에 대한 정밀진단·성능평가 용역 13건(37억 원)을 우선 발주하며, 이어서 전철전력 등 시스템 분야용역을 이번달 중 발주할 예정이다.
