고양시는 지난 14일 시청 회의실에서 관계 부서 및 전문가가 참석한 가운데 고양시의 쾌적한 환경과 지속가능한 발전을 위한 고양시 환경계획 수립 용역 착수보고회를 개최했다.

환경계획은 환경 관련 기본계획 중 최상위 법정계획으로 고양시 환경관련 전 분야를 총괄하는 역할을 하는 종합계획이다.
시는 지난 환경보전계획의 이행결과를 바탕으로 2035년까지를 계획기간으로 설정해 고양시의 특성을 반영한 환경정책의 비전과 방향을 설정할 계획이다.
특히 이번 용역은 자연환경, 대기.미세먼지 등 9개 분야별 현황자료를 바탕으로 고양시 도시계획과 연계하여 지속가능한 국토·환경의 통합관리가 이루어지도록 진행한다.
이를 위해 도시계획 전문가와 환경 전문가로 구성된 계획수립협의회가 참석해 다양한 의견을 제시했다.
시 관계자는 “고양시 도시기본계획 등 분야별 계획을 포괄적으로 검토해 정책간 연계성을 확보하고 고양시만의 고유성과 특수성을 담겠다”고 밝혔다. 고양=박정호기자
