브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이준석 국민의힘 대표는 윤석열 대통령 부인 김건희 여사가 운영하던 코바나컨텐츠 직원 2명이 대통령실에 채용된데 대해 "영부인이 정책을 할 건 아니기 때문에 전문성을 가진 인사보다 영부인이 잘 알고 잘 맞춰갈 수 있는 인물 몇몇은 채용할 수 있는 거 아닌가 생각한다"고 밝혔다.
이준석 대표는 17일 YTN라디오 ‘뉴스킹 박지훈입니다’에서 "부인을 모시는 데 있어서 일정 정도 그런 친분이 도움이 된다면 그 부분은 양해가 가능한 부분"이라며 이같이 말했다.
그는 이어 "대통령께서도 대통령실 비서진을 구성할 때 전문성을 갖춘 인사들도 뽑고, 오래 일해서 호흡이 맞는 인사도 뽑고 이렇게 다 균형을 맞춰간다"고 강조하기도 했다.
다만 그는 "영부인의 안전 등은 굉장히 중요하기 때문에 최소한의 경호라든지 공적인 부분에서 관리가 될 수 있으면 좋겠다고 생각한다"면서 "그러나 이 부분을 언급하는 순간 제2부속실 부활로 몰아가는 경우도 있기 때문에 조심스럽게 접근하고 있다"고 말했다.
