제4대 최민호 세종특별자치시장직 인수위원회(위원장 서만철)는 미래전략도시 세종의 새로운 전략산업으로 문화예술관광 분야를 육성한다는 목표를 세우고, 비단강 금빛 프로젝트의 구체적인 실현 방안 마련에 나선다.
인수위는 20일 인수위 사무실에서 브리핑을 열고 문화체육관광 분야 공약 비전을 ‘문화예술이 일상이 되는 도시’, ‘생활체육으로 건강한 삶을 영위하는 도시’로 정했다고 밝혔다.
인수위 문화체육관광 분과는 ▲금강의 관광 콘텐츠화 ▲생활체육 저변 확대 ▲예술인의 창작공간·활동기반 확충 ▲시민의 문화욕구 충족 등의 활동 목표에 따라 현장 의견을 청취하고 세부 공약과제를 검토하고 있다.
그중에서도 금강의 관광 콘텐츠화를 위해 최민호 당선인의 핵심 공약 중 하나인 ‘비단강 금빛 프로젝트’의 청사진이 될 종합마스터플랜을 세운다.
특히 인수위는 금강 세종 구간을 ‘비단강’으로 칭하고 이곳을 시민휴식 공간이자 세종을 대표하는 관광 명소로 활용한다는 최민호 당선인의 강한 의지를 재확인하고, 이를 뒷받침할 구체적인 실현 방안 마련에 나선다.
이날 오후에는 금강보행교에서 최민호 당선인과 관련 분과·TF 인수위원이 참여하는 합동 현장 방문을 실시해 금강보행교 관광자원 인프라 구축을 모색하는 자리를 가질 계획이다.
인수위는 도시 곳곳에 소규모 문화시설을 확충하고 공연문화를 활성화함으로써 지역 예술인의 창작 안정성을 높이면 시민의 문화 향유권 증진은 물론, 상권 활성화에도 큰 역할을 할 수 있다고 보고 있다.
체육 분야에서는 급증하는 파크골프 인구를 고려해 전국대회 유치가 가능한 파크골프장(36홀)을 조성하고, 날씨와 관계없이 체육을 즐길 수 있도록 실내체육시설을 확충하는 방안도 검토하고 있다.
이준배 부위원장은 “세종시를 문화예술도시로 만들겠다는 최민호 당선인의 구상을 뒷받침하기 위해 앞으로도 인수위는 당선인의 관련 공약을 가다듬고 추가 정책과제를 발굴하는 데 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
