파주시는 지역활성화 사업을 진행하는 다양한 기관에 도시재생 역량강화 교육을 지원하고 있다고 밝혔다.
시는 지난 16일 파주시 초등학교 교장협의회를 대상으로 도시재생 역량강화 연수 프로그램을 진행했으며, 학교 연계 도시재생 사업 사례에 대해 살펴보고, EBS연풍길을 탐방하는 시간을 가졌다.
이날 프로그램은 장성해 비타민저전골 마을관리사회적협동조합 이사가 강사로 나서 ‘마을에서 자라는 아이들, 학교에서 행복한 주민들’이라는 주제로, ▲도시재생뉴딜-학교재생 특화사업의 추진배경과 사업내용 및 추진성 ▲도시재생 사업에서 학교와 학생, 주민 간의 관계 및 의의 등을 강의했다.

또한, 시는 오는 7월부터 8일까지 청소년자유공간 쉼표와 함께 파주시 청소년 도시재생지원단 양성 교육을 지원할 예정이며, 이 교육은 청소년이 마을의 도시재생에 주체적으로 참여하고 기록해, 도시재생 활성화 방안을 찾아내는 역량을 강화하고자 기획됐다.
