[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원특례시의회(의장 김종대)는 21일 시의회 3층 소회의실에서 정책지원관 합격자 10명을 대상으로 오리엔테이션을 개최했다.
이날 오리엔테이션은 의회사무국 최진호 의회담당관이 직접 강사로 나서 △의회 일반현황 △정책지원관 직무교육 △공직생활 가이드 등 기본 직무교육을 실시했다. 이어 경남도의회 정책담당 손상락 사무관의 △의정활동의 지원체계 △정책지원관의 주요업무 지원절차 등 실무 특강으로 진행됐다.
이번에 선발된 정책지원관은 지난 1월 지방자치법 시행에 따라 처음 채용된 입법·행정·기획 등 관련 분야 실무경력을 두루 갖춘 7급 상당의 임기제 공무원이다. 의원발의 조례 및 예산안 심의·의결 등 입법활동과 행정사무감사, 의정자료 수집 및 분석 등에 관한 의정활동을 지원한다. 이로써 지방의회 의원들의 전문성과 정책 역량이 더욱 강화될 것으로 기대된다.
