브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 박지원 전 국가정보원장은 30일 이준석 국민의힘 대표를 향해 "파워게임이라고 하는 것은 밀리면 가는 거다. 그리고 대개 국민들이 그렇게 생각하면 정치인은 자기 생각이 중요하지 않다"고 말했다.
박지원 전 원장은 이날 CBS라디오 '김현정의 뉴스쇼'에서 "험한 사형선고를 받고 죽는 것보다 자기 스스로 물러가서 다시 재기하는 방법을 택해야 한다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 이날 윤석열계로 불리는 박성민 당대표 비서실장이 사퇴한 것을 언급하며 "친윤 비서실장까지 오늘 사퇴를 해버렸으면 오동잎 떨어지면 가을이 온 것을 알아야 한다. (성 상납 증거인멸 교사 의혹도) 어떻게 됐든 이 대표는 견딜 수 없을 것"이라고 내다봤다.
이어 "윤석열 대통령도 나토 가시면서 권성동 원내대표만 공항에 나오게 하고 이준석 대표는 못 나오게 하지 않았나"라며 "형사소송법상 종범인 김철근 정무실장이 징계 처분을 받게 돼 있으면 주범은 유죄가 되는 것"이라고 지적했다.
그러면서 "이준석 대표가 고사 직전이다. 참 젊은 청년으로 보수당의 대표가 돼서 정권 교체에 성공했고 지방선거에 압승했지만, 태양은 둘이 아니다. 집권 여당의 대표가 어떤 처신을 해야 되는가 이걸 잘 알았어야 된다"고 덧붙였다.
