고양시 청년이 직접 기획한 청년작가 전시회 ‘청년들__을 그리다’가 7월 13일부터 17일까지 고양아람누리 갤러리누리 제1전시장에서 열린다.
고양시 청년작가들의 회화, 조각, 일러스트, 웹툰 등 다양한 장르의 미술 작품을 한자리에서 감상할 수 있는 전시회다.

본 사업은 경기도 청년공동체 활동지원 공모사업으로 진행되는 사업으로 행정안전부와 경기도가 연계해 청년이 주체적으로 지역 활동에 참여하고 청년 문제를 스스로 해결할 수 있도록 각 공동체에 최대 800만원의 활동비를 지원한다.
고양시에서는 청년단체 봄햇살스튜디오(대표 김지명)가 관내 경력 단절 청년 작가와 작가 지망생이 협력하고 자립할 수 있는 방향을 모색할 수 있도록 사업을 추진하고 있다.
전시회에서는 이미 여러 차례 전시회를 개최한 김우진 작가 등 발달장애인 청년작가의 작품뿐 아니라 개인전과 그룹전을 다양하게 거쳐 온 청년작가들의 회화, 조각, 일러스트, 웹툰 등 다양한 장르의 미술 작품을 한자리에서 감상할 수 있다.
청년작가 19인(BAAS, Greyson J, 남지형, 레레, 미음, 밀양, 송현구, 오호, 이나임, 한우주, 김은지, 김우진, 김민주, 신수아, 양서연, 이규재, 이상민 이유림, 이지영)의 작품과 청년공동체 활성화를 위해 도움을 준 멘토 작가 4인(김지선, 권태순, 김지열, 연영애)의 작품 약 50점이 전시된다.
고양시 관계자는 “본 전시회가 코로나19로 위축됐던 청년공동체에 활력을 불어넣기를 바란다”며, “지역에 대한 청년의 관심과 자발적인 참여로 진행되는 사업인 만큼 많은 시민께서 방문하셔서 청년작가들의 열정을 응원해주시기 바란다”고 전했다.
