브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 조원진 우리공화당 대표는 성상납 의혹을 받고 있는 이준석 국민의힘 대표가 이미 윤리위원회 징계의 강을 건넜다고 주장했다.
조원진 대표는 5일 보도자료를 내고 "이준석 국민의힘 대표는 징계의 강을 이미 건넜다. 오직 이준석 대표만 그 뜻을 모르는 것"이라고 밝혔다.
그는 "이준석 대표가 자꾸 여론을 흐리면서 마치 징계하는 주체를 윤핵관(윤석열 핵심 관계자)로 몰고 가는데, 지금의 윤핵관은 어설픈 완장 찬 세력에 불과하고 실제로는 대한민국 국민과 청년이 징계하는 것"이라고 지적했다.
조원진 대표는 이어 "이번 윤리위 징계를 마치 품위유지 위반 정도로 평가절하하는 이준석 대표의 말장난을 보면 과거 박근혜 전 대통령 불법탄핵에서 그리도 박 전 대통령을 조롱했던 이준석이 생각난다"면서 "죄없는 대통령 조롱할 때는 재미있었고 자신이 국민적 조롱을 당하니까 화살을 윤핵관으로 돌리는 모습이 참으로 안쓰럽다"고 꼬집었다.
그는 또한 "이준석 대표는 죄없는 박근혜 전 대통령을 끝까지 탄핵의 강으로 묻으려고 했는데 결국 이준석 대표가 먼저 징계의 강을 건너버린 셈"이라며 "이준석 대표는 대한민국의 경제위기, 민생 위기, 부동산 위기를 극복해야 할 여당 대표의 자리보다는 토론 배틀 대회에서 말꼬투리 잡고 그럴듯하게 말싸움하는 토론배틀 대표가 어울린다"고 말했다.
