충남교육청은 5일 도민감사관 15명에게 위촉장을 수여하고 제4기 도민감사관 출범을 알렸다.
제4기 도민감사관의 임기는 2년으로 도내 학교와 교육지원청, 직속기관의 종합감사에 참여하며, 도민감사관의 전문지식을 살려 학교운영위원회 운영, 학교급식, 학생안전 등 전문분야를 중심으로 감사를 할 예정이다.
‘충남교육청 도민감사관’은 공직 내부가 아닌 일반 도민들의 눈높이에 맞는 시각에서 충남교육을 진단하고, 개선.발전시키고자 지난 2016년 제정된 도민감사관 구성.운영에 관한 조례에 의거해 운영하고 있다.
지난 6년 동안 도내 530여 개 기관의 감사에 참여하여 학부모 등 외부 고객의 인식 개선에 긍정적인 효과를 거두고 있다는 평가를 받고 있다.
이번에 임기를 시작하는 4기 도민감사관은 지난 4월 공개모집을 통해 엄격한 심사 절차를 거쳐 최종 선정되었으며, 대학교수, 시민사회단체, 퇴직교원 출신 등 다양한 분야의 전문가로 구성됐다.
