[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 18일부터 29일까지 마산대학교 창원캠퍼스에서 ‘IoT기반 재활 및 진단 전문가 양성과정’을 실시한다.
이번 교육·훈련사업은 지난해 전국 지방자치단체 일자리대상 특별상 수상에 따른 인센티브 사업이다.
시는 2022년 지역·산업맞춤형 일자리창출 지원사업의 일환으로서 창원산업진흥원·마산대학교 산학협력단과 협약을 맺어 추진하고 있다.
‘IoT기반 재활 및 진단 전문가 양성과정’은 다양한 산업과의 융·복합을 통해 서비스 시장이 확대되고 있는 사물인터넷 기술에 있어 사물인터넷과 헬스케어의 융합이 매우 각광받고 있음에 착안해, 창원시 관내 IoT기반 의료분야 전문가 양성 교육과정을 통해 전문인력을 양성하고 지역경제 활성화 및 청년 일자리 창출에 기여를 목적으로 추진했다.
창원시 관내 미취업자를 대상으로 사업기간 동안 4차 산업혁명 선도를 위한 IoT기반 의료분야 전문인력 20명 양성이 목표이며 진단 전문가 양성과정 10명과 재활 전문가 양성과정 10명을 양성할 계획이다.
1차로 진행하는 IoT 재활 전문가 양성과정은 사물인터넷 개요 및 응용서비스 언어치료 및 도수물리치료 진단 및 적용 진단도구 개발 등의 다양한 커리큘럼으로 진행되며 과정 수료생에게 사물인터넷 전문가 1급 자격증 응시료 지원 및 1:1 맞춤형 취업 컨설팅을 통해 마산대학교 내 창원시 거점 임상연구 지원센터와 연계된 관내 전문기관에 취업연계를 지원할 예정이다.
또한, IoT 진단 전문가 양성과정 교육생은 8월부터 모집 예정이다.
정현섭 경제일자리국장은 “4차 산업의 급격한 성장 속에서 새로운 고부가가치 산업을 주도하는 인력을 육성하고 확보할 수 있는 기반 마련이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “유망 신성장산업 분야의 고급 인재 양성을 통해 취업·인력난 해소 및 지역경제 발전으로 이어지도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
