[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경상남도는 18일 경남테크노파크에서 ‘2022년 경남지역 스타기업’으로 지정된 15개사에 지정서를 수여했다.
이날 수여식에는 박완수 경남도지사를 비롯해 최열수 경남지방중소벤처기업청장, 노충식 경남테크노파크 원장이 참석한 가운데 진행됐으며, 스타기업으로 선정된 대표이사에게 유망기업의 지속적인 성장을 격려했다.
올해 선정된 기업은 △㈜대균 △㈜대진에이치에스 △㈜반석인더스트리즈 △㈜삼도인더스트리 △삼진정밀㈜ △㈜성호전자 △세계화학공업㈜ △㈜신스윈 △아라소프트㈜ △㈜에이엔에이치스트럭쳐 △㈜유승 △㈜자이언트케미칼 △㈜정옥 △㈜지티씨 △㈜한라공업 등 15개 기업(가나다순)이다.
스타기업 육성사업은 도내 주력산업 중 성장 잠재력이 높고 일자리.부가가치 창출 능력이 우수한 기업을 선정하고 체계적으로 육성해 글로벌 강소기업으로 성장시키기 위한 시책이다.
경남도는 2018년부터 올해까지 스타기업으로 76개사를 지정했고, 기업 성장단계에 따른 맞춤형 지원을 통해 글로벌 강소기업 14개사, 지역혁신 선도기업 3개사를 성장시키는 결과를 가져왔다.
스타기업으로 지정되면 1차연도에는 기업진단을 통한 기업별 성장전략 수립, 연구개발 기획, 전담 매니저 컨설팅 등에 기업당 최대 3천만 원까지 지원받을 수 있고, 2차연도부터는 중소벤처기업부 공모사업에 참여가 가능하며, 최종 선정되면 연 2억 원 한도의 연구개발 자금을 지원받을 수 있다.
특히 2020년에 스타기업으로 선정된 A사는 전량 수입에 의존해오던 자동차 변속기 핵심부품인 밸브스풀을 국산화하는 데 성공해 현재는 폭스바겐, 아우디 등 해외 자동차 기업에 수출하고 있다.
성장전략 컨설팅, 연구개발 등을 지원받으며 수출실적이 연평균 18%씩 성장했고, 2021년에는 수출 비중이 50% 이상을 차지해 내수중심에서 수출중심기업으로 체질을 완전히 바꾸게 되었다.
박완수 도지사는 수여식에서 “이번에 선정된 스타기업은 코로나19 장기화와 원자재 가격 상승 등 어려움 속에서도 꾸준하게 성장한 우수기업으로 발돋움했다.”면서 “경남도는 지역스타기업들이 좋은 일자리를 제공하며 지역경제를 이끌고, 글로벌 기업으로 도약할 수 있도록 힘껏 돕는 데에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
