[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 의령군이 전 세계에 유일무이한 '부자축제'를 개최한다.
의령군은 삼성 이병철 회장을 대표하는 '재벌가의 고향', 사방 20리 안에 3대 거부가 탄생한다는 '솥바위 전설'을 콘텐츠로 하는 '의령 리치리치 페스티벌'을 기획하고 축제 준비에 나선다고 밝혔다.
'리치리치 페스티발'은 (가칭)호암문화예술제에서 출발해 전문가 자문과 지역 주민 의견 수렴을 거쳐 세련되고 국제적으로 영문 'rich'를 사용한 축제명을 선정했다.
'리치리치'를 사용한 배경에는 축제를 통한 마케팅화가 손쉽고, 세계인이 찾는 대한민국 대표 축제를 향한 의령군의 야심이 묻어있다.
군은 사람들이 특히 젊은이들이 가장 원하는 'rich'가 의령에 있다는 것을 강조하며 대한민국 유일한 '부자' 콘텐츠를 선점했다고 자부하고 있다.
의령 리치리치 페스티벌에 가서 소원도 빌어보고, 부자 기운도 받고, 인생 기운도 바꿔보는 '행복한 상상'을 선물한다는 계획이다.
의령군은 '리치리치 페스티벌'을 통해 축제를 찾는 모든 사람에게 소위 말하는 '대박'의 인생 전환점을 선사한다는 큰 그림을 그렸다.
축제 주제 역시 모든 사람에게 이 축제가 변화의 시작이자 전환점이 될 것을 기대하며 “인생 전환점(Turning point)”으로 결정됐다.

제1회 의령 리치리치 페스티벌 총감독에는 류재현 감독이 선임됐다.
류 감독은 전주비빔밥 축제 총감독, 내나라 여행박람회 총감독·서울장미축제 총감독 등 국내 유명 축제를 기획한 인물로 앙트너프러너쉽과 문화체육관광부 장관상 등을 수상한 전문가다.

한편 18일 군청 2층 회의실에서는 ‘의령 리치리치 페스티벌’ 추진위원회 창립총회가 개최됐다. 문화예술단체 및 기관 사회단체장 등 축제 관련 전문가 20여 명의 위원이 참석한 가운데 위원장과 부위원장 등 임원을 선출하고 정관과 축제 기본계획(안)을 심의 의결했다.
하만홍 초대 추진위원회 위원장은 "의령의 자부심을 높일 수 있는 축제 구성으로 축제 완성도를 높이겠다"며 "부자처럼 넉넉한 마음으로 관광객을 맞이할 수 있도록 성심껏 준비하겠다"고 말했다.
