거창군, 여성친화도시 조성 중장기 계획 수립 중간보고회 개최

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 27일 군청 상황실에서 ‘거창군 여성친화도시 조성 중장기 계획 수립’ 중간보고회를 가졌다.

이날 보고회는 여성친화도시 조성을 위한 정책과제 관련 군 관계자, 지역자문가 등 20여명이 참석한 가운데 연구 수행기관인 경상남도여성가족재단 오지혜 연구원의 중간진행 상황 및 향후 추진계획 보고, 질의응답, 의견수렴 순으로 진행됐다.

경남여성가족재단은 지난 5월 거창군 여건과 환경 분석을 시작으로 군민 설문조사, 전문가 초점집단면접, 지역특화사업 발굴을 위한 현장조사 등을 실시했다.

이를 통해 여성친화도시 조성을 위한 정책과제 발굴 및 여성친화도시 조성 중장기 계획(안)을 작성했으며, 지금까지의 주요 연구 결과 보고와 발굴한 정책과제에 대한 의견을 수렴하기 위해 중간보고회를 마련했다.

구인모 군수는 “여성친화와 관련된 다양한 프로그램과 더불어 군민이 체감할 수 있는 양질의 사업을 발굴하여 거창군 지역여건을 반영한 여성친화도시 조성 계획이 수립되기를 바란다”며 “마지막까지 좋은 결과가 나올 수 있도록 전 부서가 힘을 모아주시기를 당부한다”고 말했다.

거창군은 이번 중간보고회에서 나온 여러 의견을 종합적으로 검토하여 다음달 최종보고서를 바탕으로 거창군의 특색을 살린 대표사업을 더욱 발전시켜, 9월 초 여성친화도시 지정을 신청할 계획이다.
