파주시는 지난 28일 시청 대회의실에서 ‘2022년 제2차 파주시 청년정책협의체 정기회의’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 정기회의에는 이용빈 파주시 청년정책협의체 위원장을 비롯한 위원 21명과 청년정책 유관부서가 참석한 가운데 협의체 발굴 제안에 대한 부서 검토의견 공유, 청년 의견 수렴 및 청년정책협의체의 하반기 일정 등을 논의했다.

이날 회의에서 파주시 청년정책협의체 위원들은 ▲소통·참여분과 파주청년총회, 길거리 문화존 조성 등 4개 의제 ▲일자리분과 청년특허사관학교, 파주시 가업승계과정 지원 2개 의제 ▲복지·문화 분과 파주시 여성안심 홈세트, 파주 거리버스커 등 8개 의제 총 14건의 정책 의제에 대해 발표했다.

시는 협의체 위원들과 제안사업에 대해 적절성, 실현 가능성 등 의견을 나누고 협의했으며, 향후 파주시 청년정책협의체는 부서 검토를 바탕으로 분과별 최종 제안을 선정해, 오는 8월 파주시 청년을 대상으로 온·오프라인 선호도 투표를 실시할 예정이다.
김지숙 청년정책담당관은 “파주시 청년정책협의체가 청년이 체감할 수 있는 정책 발굴에 최선을 다해주고 있다”며, “민선8기가 출범한 만큼, 청년정책 분야에서 청년들의 목소리에 귀 기울여 청년들이 살기 좋은 더 큰 파주가 되도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 파주 청년(만19~34세) 30명으로 구성된 ‘파주시 청년정책협의체’는 2022년 1월 출범 이후 청년정책·사업 제안, 청년정책 홍보, 청년 의견 수렴 등의 활동을 하고 있다.파주=박정호기자
