충남교육청이 4일 공주에서 ‘충남마을교육공동체 실천연구모임지역대표자 함께 배움자리’를 개최하고, 상반기 마을교육공동체 주요정책 실천에 대한 성과 평가와 향후 추진과제를 함께 숙의했다고 밝혔다.
충남마을교육공동체는 학교와 마을의 상생을 위해 충남교육청이 충청남도, 각 시?군이 함께 추진하는 대표적인 교육협력 사업으로, 2018년 이래 충남마을교육공동체 활성화 지원 조례와 시?군별 지원 조례(당진, 금산, 천안, 아산, 공주, 서산)가 차례로 제정되어 사업 추진의 지속가능성을 부여하고 있다.
이번 배움자리는 지역별 실천연구모임 회원, 업무담당자, 학습연구년, 마을대표자 50여 명이 참여한 가운데, ▲‘교육대전환기, 마을교육공동체 지속성장 방안’특강 (김태정, 인천광역시교육청 전문관) ▲지역별 마을교육공동체 중간평가와 우수사례 발표 ▲충남마을교육공동체 포럼 논의 등의 내용으로 진행됐다.
이병도 교육혁신과장은 “지역의 마을교육을 이끄시는 지역대표 활동가, 업무담당자, 학습연구년 선생님들이 마을교육공동체 정책 실천을 위해 함께 숙의함으로써 지역 특성에 맞는 민.관.학 협력체 구축에 큰 힘이 되는 만큼, 상호 배움과 토의를 통해 지속적인 발전방안을 찾아가자”고 당부했다.
한편, 충남마을교육공동체는 2017년 도내 6개시?군(논산, 아산, 당진, 부여, 서천, 청양)에서 처음 시작돼 순차적으로 꾸준히 확산되어 왔고, 현재는 충남 15개 시군이 모두 「충남행복교육지구」로 지정?운영되고 있다.
