시가 2023년 특수상황지역개발 공모 신규사업으로 확보한 사업은 ▲애룡호수 힐링명소 조성(40억원) ▲연풍지구 농업기반시설 조성(24억원) ▲감악산 자연휴양림 진입도로 개설(52.8억원) ▲위전~영태간 도로확포장(107.6억원) ▲파주 밤고지 평화생태마을(19.2억원) 사업이다.
‘애룡호수 힐링명소 조성’ 사업은 낙후된 접경지역에 애룡호수를 활용한 힐링 공간을 조성해, 지역경제 활성화 및 지역소득증대에 기여하는 사업이다.
‘연풍지구 농업기반시설 조성’ 사업은 지역 숙원사업으로, 파주읍 지역에 상습적인 농업용수 부족에 따른 가뭄 해소를 위해 선정됐다.
‘감악산 자연휴양림 진입도로 개설’ 공사와 ‘위전~영태간 도로확포장’ 공사는 미정비된 농어촌도로에 군부대 차량 및 대형차량의 통행으로 인한 안전사고를 예방하고, 감악산 국립자연휴양림 이용객의 교통 불편을 해소하고자 마련된 사업이다.
