[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 9일 ‘창원시 버스통합관리시스템 구축 용역’의 최종보고회를 개최했다.

시가 구축한 버스통합관리시스템은 지난 2021년 시행한 준공영제를 보다 효율적이고 운영하기 위한 방안의 일환으로 시내버스의 ‘운행 이력관리’, ‘비정상 운행(결행) 검증’, ‘운행실적에 따른 재정지원금 산출’ 등 시내버스의 운행계획에서부터 운행완료에 따른 정산체계까지 준공영제를 통합적으로 관리할 수 있는 시스템이다.

버스통합관리시스템은 창원시의 준공영제 추진 초기단계에서부터 준비한 사업으로, 준공영제의 공동주체인 버스업체와 업체협의회에서도 투명한 준공영제 운영을 위해 시스템 구축·운영에 동의한 바 있어 시내버스에 대한 신뢰성을 한층 높이는 역할을 하게 될 것으로 보인다.
