김해시, 경남도 산불예방평가 4년 연속 우수기관 선정

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 김해시는 경상남도에서 실시한 산불예방.대응 시·군 평가에서 ‘우수기관’에 선정됐다고 10일 밝혔다.

도내 18개 시.군을 대상으로 산불예방, 산불방지 홍보, 산불대응, 우수사례 등을 종합적으로 평가한 것으로 김해시는 2019년부터 최우수기관 1회, 우수기관 3회 등 4년 연속 우수기관에 선정되는 영예를 안았다.

올해는 산불예방 서한문 발송, 기고문 게재 등 산불 방지 홍보에 많은 실적을 냈으며 특히 강우일수 부족으로 하절기에도 전국 곳곳에 대형 산불이 발생함에 따라 하절기 산불방지 특별대책을 자체 수립해 산림일자리사업 참여자들을 산불예방 순찰과 계도활동에 투입하는 등 산불 방지에 만전을 기했고 이는 산불방지 특색사업 추진 우수사례로 꼽혔다.

강성식 산림과장은 “산불 예방에서 가장 중요한 것은 산불에 대한 시민 여러분들의 관심과 적극적인 신고정신이며 4년 연속 우수기관에 선정된 쾌거는 이런 선진 시민의식이 있어서 가능했던 것”이라며 “오는 11월부터 새로이 시작되는 산불방지대책기간에 대비해 산불진화인력 역량 강화, 산불장비 정비에 최선을 다 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
