창원특례시 ‘도시재생 이야기관’ 개관

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 도시재생 역사기록과 홍보를 위해 조성한 ‘창원특례시 도시재생 이야기관’ 개관식이 11일 마산합포구 창동 창원시도시재생지원센터에서 열렸다.

창원특례시 도시재생 이야기관 조성사업은 도시재생 1번지 창원 도시재생사업의 홍보와 추진 성과를 기록으로 보존코자 지난 2월 착공됐으며, 공사기간 4개월간 사업비 6천만원이 투입돼 추진됐다.

도시재생의 전시 및 홍보를 위한 거점 공간인 창원특례시 도시재생 이야기관은 창원시 도시재생 지원센터 1,2층에 조성돼, 1층 129.65㎡에 도시의 탄생, 도시재생 추진경과, 선도사업으로서의 도시재생의 시작을 전시했으며, 계단실은 창동예술촌 및 부림창작공예촌의 사업내용과 작품 전시, 연혁 등의 정보를 게시했다.

2층 128.1㎡에 지구별 도시재생의 현황, 도시재생의 입체 지도, 도시재생의 기록물 및 영상물 관람, 주민참여프로그램 전시 등으로 구성했다.

창원특례시 도시재생 이야기관 조성 완료 후에는 ‘창원시 도시재생 지원센터’에서 운영·관리하여 창원형 도시재생사업에 대한 지역 주민들의 이해를 도모하고 도시재생사업 홍보 및 모니터링을 지속적으로 추진할 계획이다.
