파주시는 지난 10일 파주 LCD공공폐수처리시설에서 유해화학물질 취급 사업장을 대상으로 하는 ‘화학안전 밸프스 캠페인’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
‘화학안전 밸프스 캠페인’은 유해화학물질 취급시설의 사고 발생 중 높은 비율로 발생하는 밸브·플랜지·스위치 오조작을 방지하기 위한 예방 활동 캠페인이다.

이날 캠페인에는 파주시와 파주시 공공폐수처리시설 관계자 50여 명이 참석했다.
캠페인 주요 내용은 ▲화학 안전 교육 실시 ▲안전모 및 화학 취급 설비 안전 스티커 부착 ▲각 조별 구역 편성 및 담당구역 화학 안전 위험 요소 확인 등이다.
