[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 함안군은 11일 연꽃테마파크의 관광 명소화를 위해 개최한 제5회 함안 연꽃테마파크 연꽃사진 공모전 대상으로 ‘환생’이 선정됐다고 11일 밝혔다.
‘고귀함을 담은 연꽃의 향연’을 주제로 지난 7월 11일부터 31일까지 21일간 진행한 올해 연꽃사진 공모전에는 총 825건이 접수됐다.
군은 대상작 ‘환생’을 포함해 11점을 선정, 11일 군청 홈페이지 및 사진 공모전 사이트를 통해 수상작을 발표했다.
대상작인 유영해 씨의 ‘환생’은 광채를 내는 아라홍련의 환생을 표현한 작품으로, 이번 사진 공모전 주제인 ‘고귀함을 담은 연꽃의 향연’을 가장 잘 표현해 이번 대상작으로 선정됐다.

최우수상으로는 어떤 곳에 있어도 푸르고 아름다운 연잎을 표현한 송상호 씨의 ‘본체청정(本體淸淨)’이 선정됐다.
우수상에는 이한중 씨의 ‘아라홍련의 일몰’, 김영수 씨의 ‘아라홍련의 아침인사’가 선정됐다.
이 외 장려상 3명, 입선 4명이 수상의 영예를 안았다. 11개 수상작은 군 관광자원 소개 시 홍보자료로 활용될 예정이다.
군 관계자는 “이번 공모전에서 각자의 시선이 담긴 아름다운 사진을 출품해주신 모든 분들께 감사드린다”며 “수상작은 연꽃테마파크 방문자센터 내에서 전시할 예정으로 앞으로도 발전하는 연꽃테마파크에 지속적인 관심과 성원을 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
한편, 연꽃테마파크 방문자센터는 사진 전시실 및 쉼터로 리모델링하여 역대 수상작 전시 등 연꽃 비개화기에 찾은 관광객에게 상시 볼거리를 제공하고 있다.
