세종시가 오는 9월부터 모바일로 간편하게 대형폐기물을 신고할 수 있는 ‘대형폐기물 간편배출 서비스’를 시행한다고 밝혔다.
기존의 대형폐기물 배출 절차는 지정판매소를 방문해 신고필증을 구매해 폐기물을 부착·배출하거나, 인터넷 사이트에 접속해 배출품목 선택·결제 후 신고필증을 출력해 폐기물에 부착·배출하는 방식이었다.
대형폐기물 간편 배출시스템은 스마트폰 등을 활용한 비대면 시스템으로, 모바일로 배출품목 선택·결제 후 신고번호, 배출품목 등 납부필증을 부여 받아 일반 종이에 직접 기재해 배출할 수 있다.
세부적으로는 스마트폰으로 폐기물 촬영 후 대형폐기물 간편 배출시스템에 접속해 성명, 연락처 등 신청자 정보와 배출장소, 배출일자, 배출품목, 배출사진 등 배출정보를 등록, 수수료를 결제하면 신청이 완료된다.
이후 대형폐기물 납부필증을 출력하거나 빈 용지에 신고번호, 배출품목 등 신고사항을 기재해 부착시켜 배출하면 된다.
수거팀 또한 스마트폰을 이용해 배출정보를 실시간 확인 후 수거를 하게 되며, 이용자는 폐기물 처리결과까지도 모바일 확인이 가능하다.
이전처럼 납부필증을 프린터로 직접 출력하거나 매장에서 신고필증 구입도 가능하지만, 납부필증 기재방식이 추가되면서 배출절차가 간소화된 셈이다.
대전시 관계자는 “대형폐기물 신고 시 배출장소 또는 배출품목이 정확하지 않거나 수수료 금액이 배출 규격보다 적을 경우 수거되지 않거나 지연될 수 있어 유의해 신고하여야 한다”라고 당부했다.
(구)시스템 자료 이관 작업으로 22일부터 31일까지 10일간은 온라인 배출신고 서비스가 불가해 대형마트, 편의점 등 지정판매소에서 대형폐기물 신고필증을 구매하여 배출해야 한다.
