[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 국내 최초이자 세계 최초로 개발된 함안의 '홍시주스'가 대만으로의 수출길에 오르게 됐다.
함안군은 함안지역의 홍시로 만들어진 주스를 대만에 수출하는 업무협약을 24일 체결했다.
이날 업무협약에는 조근제 함안군수와 함께 대만 수입업체인 양삼유한공사 대표이사 고천양, 국내 수출업체인 동아원트레이딩 대표이사 김흠, 홍시주스 생산업체인 아라가야협동조합 백유기 이사장이 참여했다.
각 기관은 함안지역에서 생산된 농산물 가공품의 경쟁력 강화, 수출 촉진을 위한 서비스를 제공하는데 협력하기로 했으며 이를 위해 각 기관이 가진 역량과 인프라를 최대한 활용하기로 합의했다.
함안군은 효율적인 사업추진을 위한 행정적, 재정적 지원을 하고 양삼유한공사와 동아원 트레이딩은 판로를 촉진하기 위한 마케팅과 수출업무 및 판매 지원에 노력하는 한편 아라가야 협동조합은 농산물 가공품의 안정적인 생산 및 공급에 최선을 다한다.
아라가야협동조합에서 생산되는 함미소라는 브랜드의 홍시주스는 홍시를 고온살균한 후에도 계속 응집되어 떫은맛을 내는 탄닌 성분을 제거하기 위해 10일간의 숙성을 거쳐 가공한 제품으로 그 혁신성을 인정받아 2020년 12월 31일 중소벤처기업부 장관상을 수상한 바 있다.
홍시가 갖고 있는 칼륨, 칼슘, 마그네슘 등의 미량원소는 항산화 작용을 돕고 인지 능력 향상에도 기여하는 것으로 인정받는데 함미소 홍시주스는 현재 전국의 각급 학교에 납품되며 큰 인기를 끌고 있다.
특히 아라가야협동조합의 홍시는 친환경으로 제조된 것만 사용하고 있어서 안전한 먹거리로 인정받는다.
이런 탁월성을 인정받아 협약식을 마친 후 가진 계약협의에서 양삼유한공사는 9월 중에 초도물량으로 1000만 원 상당의 30봉 들이 함미소 800박스를 수입하기로 협의했으며 추후 판매 여건을 보며 물량을 늘려가기로 했다.
조근제 군수는 “이번 대만 수출을 계기로 다양한 지역 농산물을 대만에 수출하는데 최선을 다해 지역 농가의 소득을 향상시키겠다”고 밝혔다.
아라가야협동조합 백유기 이사장은 “친환경으로 생산하는 홍시주스가 외국에서까지 인정을 받게 되어 기쁘고 앞으로도 국민이 안심하고 먹을 수 있는 제품 개발에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
