제61회 도민체육대회 양산서 화려한 개막

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 340만 경남도민의 화합 대축전인 제61회 경상남도민체육대회가 26일 오후 7시 양산종합운동장에서 화려한 개막식의 문을 열고 4일간의 대장정에 돌입했다.

이날 개막식은 박완수 경상남도지사, 도내 18개 시장군수를 비롯해 각 시군을 대표하는 선수단과 관람객 등 1만 5천여 명의 도민들이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.

행사는 아랑고고장구 공연을 시작으로 월드힙합어벤져스 앵콜공연, 양산바이브 공연, K-타이거즈 공연 등 식전공연이 이어졌고, 김용임, 김연자, 노라조, 오마이걸, 김범수 등 인기가수들의 축하공연이 펼쳐졌다.

이어 불꽃놀이가 개막식 축제의 분위기를 한껏 고조시키며, 도민체육대회가 340만 경남도민의 대축전이자 소통하고 화합하는 축제의 장으로 대회의 의미를 더했다.

박완수 도지사는 격려사를 통해 “산업화의 중심, 민주화의 요람이었던 우리 경남이 이번 도민체전을 통해 선수들의 열정과 힘이 더해진다면 대한민국의 중심으로 우뚝 설 수 있을 것”이라며 “이번 도민체육대회가 340만 도민이 화합하고 경남을 발전시키는 원동력이 되기를 기대한다”고 말했다.

한편, ‘희망꽃핀 양산에서 화합꽃핀 도민체전’이란 슬로건으로 29일까지 펼쳐지는 이번 도민체육대회는 양산종합운동장 등에서 축구, 배구, 육상 등 31개 종목으로 진행된다.

오는 29일 오후 4시 양산실내체육관에서 폐회식이 열리게 되며, 종목별 식전공연, 종합시상, 대회기 강하 등과 함께 차기 개최지인 통영시에 대회기가 전달된 뒤 대단원의 막을 내린다.
