고양시가 8월 31일부터 9월 1일까지 3일간 고양시 킨텍스에서 진행되는 「2022 월드스마트시티 엑스포」에서 고양특례시 스마트시티 전시관을 운영한다.

8월 31일 10시에 진행되는 개막식에는 국무총리, 국토교통부 1차관, 과학기술정보통신부 실장, 고양특례시장, 부천시장, 충북·제주 부지사, 수자원공사 사장, 킨텍스 대표이사, LH 부사장, 새만금개발공사장 등 국내 관계기관과 지자체 관계자 200여명이 참석할 예정이다.
고양시는 국내 스마트도시 시범인증과 영국표준협회 국제인증 도시다. 시는 스마트시티 전시관을 통해 ▲스마트시티 리빙랩 ▲탄소중립 정책 ‘고양그린’서비스 ▲스마트 공간정보 통합플랫폼 ▲빅데이터 서비스 ▲고양 어린이 박물관 등 5개 분야별 서비스를 선보이고 방문객을 위한 이벤트를 진행할 예정이다.
