[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 오는 31일부터 9월 6일까지 7일간 창원국제사격장에서 ‘2022 한화회장배전국사격대회’를 개최한다.
한화그룹이 주최하고 대한사격연맹이 주관하는 이번 대회는 사격 모든 종목의 전 부문(일반, 학생부, 장애인 선수)이 동시 개최되며, 봉황기, 경찰청장기 등과 함께 국내 5대 메이저 대회로 분류된다.
장애인선수들을 포함한 전국 학생부 및 일반부 390개팀 3,000여명의 선수가 참가하는 이번 대회는 2023년도 국가대표 및 상비군 선발과 내년 항저우아시안게임 대표선수 선발전을 겸하여 개최된다.
한화그룹의 ‘함께 멀리’ 철학을 바탕으로 사격 종목의 활성화와 저변 확대를 위해 2008년 창설된 한화회장배는 기업이 주최하는 국내 최초이자 유일한 사격대회이다.
