또한 연휴 시작 전날인 9월 8일(목)과 연휴 마지막 날인 9월 12일(월)에 생활쓰레기를 집중 수거해 시민 불편을 최소화할 예정이다.
추석연휴 기간 중 9월 9일부터 9월 11일 사흘간은 근로자 휴무로 쓰레기를 수거하지 않으므로 수거 전날인 9월 7일(수)과 9월 11일 일몰 이후에 쓰레기를 배출해야 한다.
시 관계자는 “추석 연휴 전·후 생활쓰레기를 신속하게 수거·처리하여 청결하고 쾌적한 명절 환경을 만들겠다”고 밝히며 “각 가정에서도 낭비되는 음식물 최소화, 생활폐기물 배출일자 준수, 재활용품 분리 배출 등 쓰레기 감량에 동참해주시기 바란다.”고 당부했다. [고양=박정호기자]
