2022년 서울웹페스트가 끝났다. 영화제의 가장 큰 관심도는 단연 레드카펫. 서울웹페스트측은 보도자료에 “지난 8월20일 어워드쇼가 진행되었고 홍보대사 김명호의 출발로부터 아스트로 라키가 마지막에 레드카펫을 걸으면서 올해의 레드카펫 행사는 화려하고 성대하게 이루어졌다. 올해의 서울웹페스트는 다른 해와 다르게 또 다른 장르 미술이 함께 했다”고 전하고 “아트마켓에 참여했던 미술작가들의 작품들이 레드카펫 위에 들어서는 순간 많은 사람들은 박수갈채를 보냈다. 이날 모인 미술인들은 모두 작품성을 인정받고 아트마켓에 초대된 작가들로 영화인들과 어우러져 한마음이 되었다”고 소개했다.
이어 “장르는 다르지만 예술이라는 결속력으로 뭉쳐진 이들은 진정한 예술인이었다. 이날 미술품을 들고 레드카펫을 걸었던 사람들도 다양했다. 미술작가들 뿐만아니라 모델, 배우, 모두 미술작품을 들고 레드카펫에 나타났고 레드카펫위에서 펼쳐진 미술품 퍼프먼스는 모두를 즐겁게 했다. 그리고 올해는 서울웹페스트가 영화 속 장면그리기 공모 이벤트를 진행했다.”고 설명하면서 “미술작가와 신진작가 그리고 미술을 공부하고 있는 학생들로 총 200여명이 응모했다. 대상으로는 장문자 금상수상자는 일러스트부문 정유경, 서양화부문 곽미연, 그리고 동양화 부문 김종순, 역시 서양화 부문 은상에 이갑임이 수상했다”고 알렸다.
서울웹페스트는 올해 장르가 다른 예술인들을 모두 한곳에 모아서 다양한 예술을 즐기는 축제를 만들었다. 8월에 진행된 행사 중 가장 좋은 행사였다는 평을 받고 막을 내렸다.
