[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 전통타악을 중심으로 현대적인 색채의 무속음악을 연주하는 홍성현아트컴퍼니가 산청을 찾는다.
산청군은 오는 3일 오후3시 단성면 남사예담촌 기산국악당 대밭극장에서 ‘홍성현의 초벌비 - 수호신 골매기’ 공연을 개최한다.
홍성현아트컴퍼니는 동해안 무속음악과 전통타악을 중심으로 현 시대에 맞는 음악작업을 통해 관객과 소통하며 마음을 위로하는 음악을 추구한다.
2011년부터 ‘홍성현의 초벌비’, ‘Ver.1 Turn On’, ‘신의 빗방울’, ‘수호신 골매기’ 등 ‘초벌비 프로젝트’를 선보이고 있다.
이러한 프로젝트를 통해 동해안 무속음악이 품고 있는 확장성과 대중성을 확인하는 한편 현대적으로 풀어내기 위한 창작작업을 이어오고 있다.
오는 3일 공연에서는 우리나라 전통 무속음악을 현대적으로 재해석?창작한 ‘하이웨이’, ‘초벌비’, ‘쉬고가’, ‘수다 2’, ‘수호신 골매기’ 등이 무대에 오른다.
한편 이번 공연은 산청군이 단성면 남사예담촌내 기산국악당에서 진행하는 ‘얼쑤! 산&청 힐링 상설공연’의 하나로 진행된다.
기산국악당에서는 지난 5월부터 오는 11월12일까지(7월16일~8월 20일 하절기 미운영) 매주 토요일 다채로운 국악공연이 펼쳐진다.
상설공연에서는 국악계의 큰 스승이신 기산 박헌봉 선생의 유지를 잇는 젊은 국악인과 명인들이 전통예술과 현대를 잇는 국악무대를 선보이고 있다.
