[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 5일 창원산업진흥원 창업지원센터 2층 세미나실에서 2022 충무공 이순신 방위산업전(YIDEX) 추진 세부 실행계획 및 추진상황 점검 보고회를 개최했다.
이날 보고회는 류효종 창원시 스마트산업국장을 포함, 공동주최 기관별 TF팀 19명이 머리를 맞대 현재 추진상황 점검 및 해외 무관 및 바이어 초청, 체계기업 유치 세부 계획과 코로나19 확산 대비에 따른 대응방안 등 진행사항을 점검하고 성공적 개최를 위한 각오를 다지는 자리가 됐다.
충무공 이순신 방위산업전(YIDEX)은 3군의 미래전력자산에 대한 다양한 콘텐츠를 제시하고 첨단방위산업 선도도시 브랜드를 구축하고자 창원특례시가 주최하는 방위산업전시회로서, ‘2019년 창원해양방위산업전’을 최초로 개최한 이래 2020년부터 충무공 이순신 방위산업전(YIDEX)이라는 명칭으로 격년으로 확대·개최되고 있다.
지난 “20 YIDEX”에는 미국 등 5개국 47개사-창원 기업 115개사가 수출 상담을 통해 방산 수출 7,000억원이라는 큰 성과를 거둔 바 있다.
2022 충무공 이순신 방위산업전(YIDEX)은 오는 12월 6일부터 9일까지 진해 해군사관학교 연병장에서 개최될 예정이다.
창원시와 해군사관학교 및 해군군수사령부가 공동 주최하고 국방부, 방위사업청, 국방과학연구소, 국방기술진흥연구소 등의 후원으로 창원산업진흥원이 주관한다.
