추석을 사흘 앞두고 태풍이 지나간 동마산 시장은 모처럼 맞이한 대목을 놓칠 수 없어 시설물 피해가 있는지 점검한 후 손님맞이에 분주한 모습이다.
홍 시장은 “역대급 태풍이라는 말에 시민과 상인들 모두 사전 예방활동을 잘해주신 덕분에 피해를 막을 수 있었다”며 “추석이 코앞이라 많은 시민들이 시장을 방문해 상인 여러분들의 얼굴에 웃음꽃이 피기를 기대한다”고 말했다.
