국민의힘 윤상현 의원은 9월8일 페이스북에 올린 “이재명 더불어민주당 대표, 숨지 말고 법 앞에 당당하라”는 제목의 글에서 “이재명 대표의 사법 리스크가 현실로 다가오고 있다. 급하긴 급한 모양이다. 윤석열 대통령 고발과 김건희 여사 특검이라는 무리수를 남발하는 모습에서 당황하는 모습이 역력하다”고 전제하고 “정기국회가 문을 열고, 더군다나 영수회담을 제의해 놓은 상황에서 말이다. 이 대표는 민주당의 이재명이 아니라 이재명의 민주당이 될 것이라고 공언해왔다. 그 약속은 이미 이룬 것 같은데 결국 민주당은 이재명과 함께 불행의 길로 가고 있다”고 지적했다.
