파주시는 14일 제25보병사단에서 파주시-25사단 군관 상생발전협의회를 개최했다.
이번에 개최된 군관 상생발전협의회에는 김경일 파주시장과 최성진 제25보병 사단장이 참석했으며, 파주시 평화기반국장, 평화안보자문관 및 25사단 부사단장, 참모장, 작전참모, 인사참모 등이 배석했다.

협의회에서는 파주시 주요 현안 및 상생발전을 위한 군사시설 보호구역 규제 완화와 파주시 역점사업인 리비교 관광자원화 사업 추진 등에 대해 논의했으며, 파주시와 25사단이 긴밀히 협력해 상생할 수 있는 방안을 찾아나가자고 의견을 교환했다.

김경일 파주시장은 “파주시 상생발전을 위해 25사단과의 상호협력과 발전적 관계가 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “파주 북부권역 경기 활성화와 정주여건 개선을 위해 파주시와 25사단이 상생발전할 수 있는 초석이 될 수 있도록 적극 협력해 나가자”고 말했다.
