[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 23일부터 2일간 ‘진해 문화재 야행(夜行)’ 7가지 특별한 이야기로 진해원도심을 가득 메운 인파로 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣었다.
이번 행사는 2021년 시작으로 올해 2년차를 맞이했는데, 진해 문화재 야행은 ‘진해군항, 100년의 흔적을 찾아서’를 주제로 최초의 근대계획도시이자 근대문화역사자원이 밀집돼 있는 진해구 중원로터리의 팔(八)거리를 중심으로 문화재 야간관람, 근대역사 테마투어, 체험·공연·전시 등으로 진행됐다.
진해 문화재 야행은 야경(夜景), 야로(夜路), 야사 (夜史), 야화(夜畵), 야설(夜設), 야시(夜市), 야식(夜食) 등 7가지의 테마로 ?해설사와 함께 하는 진해근대문화 달빛투어, 진해야밤투어(시티투어버스) ?전통민속놀이인 연도여자상여소리, 강강수월래, 진해웅천농악놀이 등 ?근대문화역사이야기와 인문학콘서트 ?예술공연과 역사체험부스 ?근대역사의 사진전과 초등학생을 대상으로 한 ‘문화재 야행 학당’ 운영 등 40여개의 다채로운 프로그램을 선보였다.

문화재 야행 홈페이지를 통한 문화재 소개와 현장에서 진행되는 행사의 실시간 스트리 밍 영상을 유튜브를 통해 시청하는 등 온라인을 통한 관심도 뜨거웠다. 시민들의 큰 호응과 함께 문화재에 대한 새로운 인식의 계기가 되었다면, 역사적, 문화적 가치를 재조명하고 학습자료로서의 활용의 기회가 됐다는 평가를 받았다.
