파주시 문산읍 당동리 932번지 일원에서 지난 24일부터 이틀간 열린 제14회 문산거리축제가 성황리에 마쳤다.
4년 만에 재개된 이번 거리축제는 김경일 파주시장, 박정 국회의원을 비롯한 많은 내빈이 참석한 가운데 체험과 공연 프로그램 등으로 다채롭게 펼쳐졌다.

지역 주민들의 발레와 색소폰 공연을 시작으로 청소년 댄싱 경연대회 등 다채로운 볼거리와 마술쇼, 밴드공연, 임진강 가요제가 진행됐다.
지역 내 기업 및 단체와의 강화된 협력 관계를 바탕으로 볼거리와 먹거리를 보다 풍성하게 확대해 제공했으며, 한 건의 안전사고 없이 대성황을 이뤄 총 수천 명의 지역 주민과 방문객이 찾은 것으로 잠정 집계됐다.

특히 행사 중간중간 이뤄진 행운권 추첨, 어린이들을 위한 바이킹, 공예 체험은 많은 인기를 끌었으며, 가요제 예선을 통과한 수준급 실력의 시민들이 참여한 임진강가요제는 화려한 축제의 피날레를 장식했다.

축제를 주관한 이재성 주민자치회장은 “오랜만에 축제를 개최한 터라, 우려가 있었다”라며 “다행히 주민 여러분과 관내 기관·단체의 단합된 힘으로 성황리에 마쳤다”고 감사를 전했다.
