[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 홍남표 창원특례시장은 26일 오후 2시 농업기술센터 대강당에서 전국 최초로 청년농업특별시 선포 이후 청년농업 신규 정책을 발굴하고, 청년농업인과 소통화합의 시간을 가지기 위해 청년농업인과 만남의 시간을 가졌다.
행사에는 홍남표 창원특례시장, 농업인 단체장, 농협중앙회 창원시지부 및 한국농어촌공사 창원지사 관계자, 청년농업인 등 40여명이 참석했다.
행사 1부는 청년농업인 영농 성공사례 발표가 있었고, 2부는 홍남표 창원특례시장과 함께하는 청년농업인과의 정책간담회의, 3부는 청년농업특별시를 상징하는 조형물 제막식이 진행됐다.
2부에서 진행된 정책간담회는 청년농업 지원정책에 대해 청년농업인이 직접 홍 시장에게 참신한 정책제안을 했다.

주요 정책제안 내용으로는 ▲ 청년농업인 영농 정보교류 커뮤니티 공간 확보요청 ▲ 국비 융자사업 후계농업경영인 지원사업 이자지원 등으로 청년농업인들의 참신한 정책 제안들이 쏟아져 나왔다.
시는 이날 행사에서 제안된 정책들의 실행 가능성을 검토해 내년도 예산확보를 통해 추진할 계획이며, 올해부터 2030년까지 미래 창원농업을 이끌어갈 핵심 청년농업인 인재 100명 육성을 목표로 두고 유입홍보·기반조성·판로지원 등 원스톱 단계별 지원정책과 스마트팜 육성을 중점 추진할 계획이다.
