이번 임명된 은준석(한의사), 이은영(보건학박사) 역학조사관은 지난 2020년 9월 18일자로 고양특례시 수습 역학조사관으로 임명되어 코로나19 뿐만 아니라 수인성 감염병 등 집단발생에 대처하면서 부단히 현장경험을 익히는 바쁜 와중에도 감염병 유행역학조사보고서 및 감염병감시보고서 제출 등 질병관리청 교육과정을 수료하여 고양특례시 역학조사관 임명이라는 결실을 맺게 됐다.
고양시 2명의 역학조사관은 “역학조사 계획수립을 통한 역학조사 실시기준을 마련하고, 감염병 역학조사에 대한 교육훈련과 역학연구 진행을 통해 감염병 전파방지 및 감염원 추적 등의 고양특례시의 감염병 대응 수준을 한층 더 높이는데 기여하고 싶다”며 소감을 밝혔다.[고양=박정호기자]
