[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 지난달 30일부터 마산해양신도시 인근에서 어린 청어 떼들이 죽은 채 발견돼 인근을 산책하던 주민들이 신고하는 등 소동이 벌어졌다.
죽은 채 발견된 어린 청어들은 이곳 뿐 아니라 합포구 구산면 해양드라마세트장과 진동면 다구리 앞바다에서도 발견돼 창원시가 2일부터 죽은 물고기를 치우는 작업에 들어갔다.
창원시는 마산만 일대에서 집단폐사한 어린 청어 떼들의 원인 규명에 나섰으며, 이와 함께 관계공무원들과 어민 등 약 200여명이 긴급 투입돼 수거작업에 들어갔다.
